Transfer Credits from Other Colleges and Universities
Butler University frequently accepts transfer credits from other colleges and universities, with numerous courses pre-approved for credit transfer. Courses without pre-approval can also be assessed individually for transfer credit.
How do I know if my courses will transfer?
Courses completed at an accredited institution, at the 100 level or higher, and with a grade of C- or better, are eligible for transfer credit evaluation. Transfer credits can be applied toward academic major courses, electives, or the Butler Core Curriculum. For more information about how coursework from other colleges and universities will transfer, consult the Butler University Bulletin.
